Shipment of the 2,000th anniversary ton of products

From January 2015 to the present, the innovative company Functional Materials (FM), part of the project portfolio of the Northwest Technology Transfer Center, has produced over 2,000 tons of finished products - flame retardants, modifying additives, pigments, fillers - by customer orders.

Functional Materials LLC (FM) was established in March 2015 for contract manufacturing in the field of nanomaterials and mechanochemistry for various industries. FM's production and processing facilities allow for synthesis from 5 to 80 nm and milling to 2-3 microns and are focused mainly on aluminum hydroxide-based products. The company has two technological lines - "Dry milling" (including drying of raw materials, milling on disintegrators and vibratory percussion mills and classification) and "Wet milling" (chemical synthesis and wet milling on bead mills). Also FM has the technical capability of quality mixing of various fine materials, surface treatment, dispersion and classification of particles, which expands the range of products.

From January 2015 to the present time FM has produced more than 2,000 tons of finished products - flame retardants, modifying additives, pigments and fillers. Ultradisperse powders and compositions based on them are used for production of artificial stones (marble, onyx), plastics and polymers, fireproof, cellulose and paper products, flame retardants and fillers in products with high fire protection and electrical insulation requirements, nonflammable carpets and roof coverings, linoleum and artificial leathers, rubber and rubber, dry construction mixtures.
